An andBeyond representative will meet you, and fellow guests, at andBeyond Ngala Safari Lodge and drive you to Hoedspruit Airport. Approximately 2 hour.
Scheduled flight 4Z658, Hoedspruit to Cape Town, departing at 13:55 and arriving at 16:40.
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a member from our andBeyond team who will drive you to
The Portswood Hotel. As you drive toward the city, your view from afar will be Table Mountain, one of the most spiritual places on earth, with its heart, two oceans and the beautiful
city of Cape Town at its feet.
Unwind during your 1 night stay at The Portswood Hotel in a Deluxe Room with ensuite bathroom.
Weather: About 80 and sunny at Ngala. Cape Town - about 65 and rainy
Another early start for the game drive and a beautiful sunrise.
The target this morning was the rhino that got away last night. Instead we ended up seeing a pride of lions which included two male lions today.
We continued over to see the buffalo
And then on to see the hyena den, unfortunately, no hyenas or babies were visible.
We did see a tawny eagle in a tree
And a Bateleur eagle (juvenile) on the wing.
Breakfast was with Polly and Kyla
And then off to the airport. While waiting I had a mango smoothie
And then lunch on the flight - a vege sandwich, sparkling grape juice and tea
The meet and greet at the airport wasn’t the best - I had to come back to try to find him, but the car was amazing. I’ve never seen so many available amenities (no, I didn’t steal them)
The Portswood is a nice hotel, but run down at the edges. My room is quite nice, but it is rather noisy and the elevator is audible from the room
