Russborough House - Stately House in County Wicklow

I wanted to visit Russborough House because it was referenced in a Danielle Steel book I was reading. It's a stately house not too far from Hacketstown which is one of the few that has been repaired and furnished in period furniture. The art collection is famous (infamous?) because it was stolen and recovered twice. It was originally opened in 1741 and the last owners, Beit, held many dinners there, entertaining famous people like Fred Astaire, Mick Jagger, Charlie Chaplin, and my favorite was a picture of Jackie Kennedy holding a silver pitcher - looked like she was caught stealing it. Not really worth the 10 Euro entrance fee.
