October 4, 2023 - From the itinerary: drive to Jaipur airport for the flight to Delhi and transfer to the Pullman.
I got notice there was a big flood in Gangtok, so I guess this means I might not see Sikkim this trip. The main bridge and road washed away.
Jai Singh, the owner Shahpura Bagh, told me to say hello to the owner of Glenburn Tea Estate.
I bid goodbye to Shahpura Bagh and had a 4 hour drive back to the Pullman Hotel which was ugly and uneventful. The room looks the same as last time and the air conditioning doesn’t work too well.
The air quality in Delhi is really bad. I went over to the local mall to an Asian restaurant for dinner. I had a beer, a bath and bed.
