Having hiked down from Table Mountain in South Africa, I thought it would be interesting to hike Benbulben, purportedly the Irish version. This wasn't a great idea and turned around after about a mile in. The initial access road was fine and next to a waterfall; thereafter, it got very boggy and muddy, so settled for taking photos from the base. Given the extra time, found the very pretty Glencar Falls and hiked this. Pretty views, cool temps and no bog!
