Kingdom Tower and High Tea

On Wednesday (October 13) we went to Kingdom Tower to see the view and also have high tea at The Four Seasons. The viewing platform at the Tower is on the 99th floor and some views are a challenge for those of us with vertigo. There was an interesting parking lot where the cars were stacked on top of each othere.

After seeing the view we went downstairs for tea at the hotel. We had two different teas - one was the traditional high tea, the other was an Arabic version. The Arabic version had stuffed grape leaves, baklava, and mini-wrapped sandwiches, as well as the habitual scones.

After tea we went to the airport for our Air Saudia flight. At the last minute they changed airplanes and our seats without telling us. There was a bit of a contra temps as Chris explained that we wanted our original seats. We ended up in the original row and sitting next to each other and an embarrassed lady who worked as an archeologist in a bronze age dig in the area.
