Last Day in Bhutan

October 20, 2023, From the Itinerary: Paro/ Delhi This morning you will be chauffeured to Paro airport to board your onward flight (By Druk-Air KB 200 DEP 09H40 ARR 11H30).

Breakfast was a buffet where I had some croissant-like rolls and some lovely local yogurt and wonderful home made cinnamon tea.

We had a short trip to the airport where I paid off the guys, checked in and looked around the airport. Nothing interesting to buy - I was looking for a unique Druk Path T-Shirt, but there was nothing. So eventually we were allowed to board the plane and started the flight to Delhi

The big story today was wonderful weather for flying and some great photos of the Himalayas and Mt. Everest. It's taken me 4 flights to finally get some.

Back to the awful pollution of Delhi and over to the Andaz Hyatt Hotel. I had a view of the airport and there were some interesting Russian planes and US versions of harrier jump jets (vertical take-off). I didn't eat dinner this night and prepared for my trip back to the UK via Helsinki
