After a few days in London to repack and repair the fun started. I have a connection in South Africa - about 1.5 hours. I was notified the flight was delayed by about an hour, so was quite lucky I was packed enough to race out to the airport to get on the earlier flight - my connection is the only direct flight to Zambia and didn’t want to go on a ”tour of africa”. Then the earlier flight started to get delayed, but we still left before the other flight would have - plenty of time. I gest to Johannesburg and it turns out I have to go through a transit passport control and security check. No problem - still enough time and I make my connection. I get to Zambia and find out only one bag made the connection. Luckily it was the hiking duffel. More tomorrow to see what happens next in the ”Victoria Falls” tab!
