The final day (4/23-4/24/22) has come and it’s a long one. Not photos for this post.
Up at 5 to get to the airport in time for my 9:30 flight. The local travel people got me to the airport in WAY too much time with nothing to do there. For some reason they thought I had to check in but Indigo requires pre-check in to avoid added fees. SO, I sat street-side and had my box breakfast prepared by the Marriott since I had to leave before breakfast started.
Nothing really to report on the flight, pickup and journey to the Pullman Hotel. My flight back to the UK is at 1:50am, so I board in about 4 minutes and will try to finish this up before I get on the plane. The only hiccup today was that the hotel wanted to charge me for lounge use when they allowed me in and only told me after 4 hours this was an extra charge. ANYWAY, they saw the error of their ways and didn’t charge me the $50 bucks.
I did get to see my colleague from TCS - Rajeev Gupta - who traveled over an hour to see me. It was good to catch up.
Highpoint: Munnar. Low point Dev Shree. Now I’m hearing the call to the gate. So long in the making, this trip is now over.
