October 3, 2019 from the itinerary: Continue to Lukla We retrace our steps to Chaunrikhara where we start the last climb to the airstrip at Lukla. Tea-house (sleeping altitude 2,800m). Our elevation decrease is 50 meters over 8 miles.

We are retracing our steps and getting close to Lukla.

We walk past the lunch spot we originally passed the day after I was so ill. It was only a few days ago, but seems like a million years.

Amazing the seemingly delicate bridges can hold the weight of a yak... On "our" side of this bridge lived our yak driver. Here is a picture of our driver and the front of his house.

Our yaks also stopped for tea.

I had a local beer with my meal.
