To celebrate my 60th birthday, I went on a big trip that included Victoria Falls, climbing Kilimanjaro, a Safari trip to the top four wildlife parks in Tanzania -  Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park -  and ending with a trek up to Everest Base Camp.  This trip started on 24 August and ended on 7 October, 2019.

I went in the Autumn of 2019 because I wanted to see the Great Migration which didn't really work out.  We ended up having to drive all the way to Kenya - a very long day for my driver

 

Besides seeing the animals in safari, I really wanted to stop by Olduvai Gorge and see the place where the Leakey's found evidence of early. man.  This was something I grew up watching on National Geographic and an interest I shared with my mother.
